  2. Hi - I'm currently making this for my friend and I wondered if you would be able to let me know how you worked the border? Many thanks

    1. Hi Sarah,
Sorry about the delay in coming back to you...

      Border rows are as follows:
      1. Treble around the edge in white to give a clean / regular edge to work with.
      2. In pale blue form a triangular chain type pattern using the following... treble into first stitch, * chain one, treble into same first stitch, skip one stitch, treble into next stitch and repeat from *.
      3. Switching back to white, DC into the first space (which will be over the rat chain stitch of the previous row), chain one, DC into the next space (which will be between the 2 trebles from the previous row) chain one and repeat for the round.
      4. Switch to red, DC into the first space, chain one, DC into the next space, chain one and repeat for th round. Tie off and you're done!
If you click into the photos above you'll have a clear lose up of the border pattern.

I hope that all makes sense, but if you get stuck at all just let me know.

I hope you enjoyed making it!
